Penygraig Cottage is a 300 year old welsh stone long house situated in the beautiful Cothi Valley. The Cottage sleeps 6, the Granary 8, or rented together to sleep 14. ideal for families or groups. Our aim is to take the stress out of finding accommodation for the duration of your stay in Wales. Close to 5 welsh castles, the National Botanical Garden of Wales and Brechfa forest, visitors can enjoy culture, leisure and recreation. Penygraig is ideally situated for walking in the Brecon Beacons, enjoying the Pembrokeshire Coast or visiting the 7 miles of sandy beach at Pendine. Mountain biking, horse riding, golf, kayaking and fishing have all been enjoyed by our visitors. The property itself has a large garden, patio, BBQ and chiminea, ideal for children and pets with plenty of parking. About our location:
7 miles from Tesco Extra in Carmarthen but you would never know it. Penygraig is up a secluded lane in the Cothi Calley next to a working farm. From the Cottage, an hours drive can place you either in the centre of Cardiff, on a beach in Pembrokeshire, on top of Pen-y-fan in the Brecon Beacons or on the Cardigan coast. Ideally located for outdoor activities and leisure, closer to home are forestry walks and mountain biking trails in the Brechfa forest, fishing on the Cothi River and the National Botanical Gardens of Wales within 10 minutes drive.
