Rhossili Visitor Centre
Coastguard Cottages, Rhossili, Gower, Swansea County

Rhossili is the ideal location from which to walk along the south Gower coast and discover its rare wildlife, archaeology, unspoilt cliffs and beaches. Behind the 3-mile stretch of Rhossili Bay the 200m climb to Rhossili Down Commons allows you to appreciate the spectacular tidal island of Worm's Head and intricate medieval open field system of The Vile. It is this patchwork of important landscape features which ensured Gower's status as the first Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty in 1956. The visitor centre includes a shop, exhibition and information about the area. The Trust cares for 75% of Gower's beautiful coastline and 2,226 hectares (5,500 acres) of its countryside.
